make your nikah special

Everything comes down to this. The Nikah. Why not make it special? Ultimately, it’s what makes you husband and wife.

A Qualified Imam Who Will Conduct Your Nikah And Deliver A Speech – All In English.

Easy and reliable.

According to the quran and sunnah

We all want there to be blessings in our marriage. One important way is to ensure our marriage is conducted according to the Quran and Sunnah. That’s why we stick closely to the Sunnah and leave culture out. Everything we do is according to the Sunnah.

NIKAH AND SERMON DELIVERED IN ENGLISH

It can be frustrating when you don’t understand what your Islamic marriage ceremony involves. With us, everything is conducted in English. There is also a sermon (speech) which is a great reminder for everyone who is present.

AN IMAM NEAR YOU

We understand that it can sometimes be difficult to find an Imam who will do things properly, especially if you don’t know many mosques. That’s why we have Imams across the country who will travel to you and conduct the Nikah in your home / venue.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we are currently not conducting Nikahs in person.

However, as an alternative solution for those who still wish to marry, we can conduct the Nikah via video-conferencing facilities.

Please contact us for more information.

Your Nikah. Your Choice.

Islamically, it is not a requirement that the Nikah be conducted in the mosque. In fact, we come to your home / hall so everyone can be part of this special occasion. Our network of Imams spans the whole country, so you’re never far from someone who can help you fulfil half of your religion.

A Nikah To Remember.

Our Imams are born in the UK therefore speak fluent English. They regularly deliver talks and sermons so you can be confident they will follow the Sunnah whilst also delivering a great speech which will benefit everyone in attendance and make the occasion one that you’ll never forget.

Memories. Framed.

Your Nikah certificate is not a requirement for your marriage to be valid, but it’s always nice to have something to remember your big day by. That’s why we give you a beautifully presented certificate which can be framed and displayed. It will be signed by one of the Imams on our advisory board, the Imam who conducted your Nikah, as well as the bride, the groom, the two witnesses and the Wali.

“Pure Nikah was excellent from the time of initial contact to the ceremony. Imam Ibrahim was an absolute joy to have to perform the Nikah. He was very motivational too. Special thanks to Maryam who was so helpful in organising the Nikah with such short notice. Would certainly recommend Pure Nikah to anyone.”

the big day!

On The Day - What Happens...

An Introduction to the nikah

The Imam will give a brief introduction about how the Nikah is conducted in Islam - this is so everyone in attendance knows what will happen.

The Actual Nikah

This is the big moment! The Imam will ensure the witnesses are present, that the wali is present and that there is consent from both the bride and the groom. The Mahr (dowry) will also need to be agreed. Once this is done, the groom will ask the Wali of the bride to marry her to him in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah. If the Wali agrees, the marriage is complete. The certificates will be signed and presented.

Speech in english

Is the Nikah legally binding or do I need to register it?

Currently, Islamic Nikahs are not legally recognised under English law. Therefore, if you wish to register your marriage then you will need to do this separately.

Are you associated with any mosque or scholar?

We believe in making Nikah accessible to all, regardless of group or orientation. We also believe it should be conducted in strict accordance to the Quran and Sunnah with the understanding of the noble companions. As such, we do not ascribe to any particular mosque, however all practices have been vetted by a group of people of knowledge, as well as the Imams themselves.

What are the requirements for a valid Nikah?

In order for a Nikah to be valid Islamically, there must be the consent of the bride, the wali of the bride, a mahr (which is given to the bride) and two witnesses. The groom must ask the wali of the bride for his permission to marry her.

For the Nikah to be valid, the Wali must be present. This is typically the bride’s father / brother / paternal uncle / grandfather. If there is no wali, we cannot perform the Nikah.
